SdKfz 164 Panzerjager Hornisse

Post by panzerman47 »

Ostensibly representing one of the 560th at Kursk, it was originally intended to be a winter model, but just decided to do it as is anyway.
Will have to get another for winter.... ;) Basic Dragon kit, built out of the box.

The crew were nicked out of a drawer where they have been patiently waiting for their previous mount (an old ESCI Marder III) to be replaced...(a UM version, it's still in the paintshop), hopefully they won't be too disappointed in getting a shiny new Hornisse instead... ;). Obviously a quiet time, one is smoking a tab, the other reading a newspaper.... :)

Is it a newspaper John, or the operating instructions for his new 'toy'??

"Hans, I can't see how we open this Double Action Foo Foo Valve...it's not clearly stated in these instructions!!"
