I posted recently two off Churchill IVs (for infantry or RTR tanks units) and two off Crusader III (17/21 Hussars), I decided to increase both to a full troop under our rules (plus one of each). I also have two Hasawaga Humber IIs for which I have acquired proper turrets (not those horrible Canadian things that come with the kit) - these will once finished get a green coat of paint and become Derbyshire Yeomanry A/Cs rather than deserty ones. :D

right those are now done and finished :D

Written two quick pick-up and play scenarios:
1. an Operation Torch game where an American column moving north from Saafi has to secure a bridge over a river on the road to Casablanca
2. Free French Vs Vichy French in Syria, June 1941

Built a couple of British armoured cars (a Matchbox Humber II and a Frontline resin Rolls Royce) cleaned a based a dozen deserty British ready for undercoating tomorrow :D

having a good, productive week :D

These were delayed whilst I awaited 2 new packs (French officers & a mortar crew), these arrived yesterday and were based and undercoated last evening - today I have been applying the main colour blocks to all 27 figures, time allowing detailing should start tomorrow :D

Last evening I commissioned and paid for Elhiem to produce 5 packs of Senegalese to supplement his Tropical French range, all negro soldiers in boots w/puttees, shorts and shirts, with a mix of chechia fez and Adrian helmet -
2 off 4-fig packs of riflemen (with Lebel rifles)
A 2-man moving FM24/29 team
A 2-man VB grenade launcher team
A 4-fig gun crew
