RIF Army figures from Strelets

Post by CarlL » Fri Jan 11, 2019 7:08 pm

Image

41 plastic Rif figures, 23mm, in 17 poses (plus 3 other figures, one pose, from another period)

This piece could perhaps be best placed on the "Early 20th Century" page?

Strelets Set 185, Foot Rif Rebels, gets reviewed over on http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/review.aspx?id=2540 - I wont spoil it for you.

Not a good review for historical accuracy on PSR

Seems they are really re-purposed Arabs not Berbers. Over to Richard Baber for the definitive response.

I'm going to use them for Arabs, etc anyway, especially the Imam
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.

Not hugely impressed but may get a box (why not?) To add to my Riffi/Berber/Arab/Pathan rebels :D
