RECON UK 2nd December

Alex of Shipyards and I will be at Recon.   Un-typicaly only 1 Modern game.   Come and have a chat or a play if you go.  We can cover lots of topics.  Being Shapeways and  home printer adicts we may be able to shed light on such things.  Of course being rule writers we have opinions on most things ;-).

Where

Pudsey civic hall
    Dawsons corner
    Leeds
    LS28 5TA

Cheers  Brian

Re: RECON UK 2nd December

It's a small but we'll formed show with free parking and usually low entry fee and a bar with food on site, based around ground floor traders hall and upstairs two smaller spaces, one of games and another for trade and bring and buy.
I don't know the public transport links in this area, but Pudsey appears well connected to both Leeds and Bradford by road bus links,  and there is a rail station at New Pudsey, which I think is about 10 to 20 minutes walk away.

Re: RECON UK 2nd December

I should be there as I'll be allowed to drive in just over a week (stupid DVLA rules)

What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all..........  In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing.  I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.

Re: RECON UK 2nd December

The old Pudsey town hall is a long walk from the civic hall at new Pudsey where the show is held! I know I walked it many years ago when I went to wrong Pudsey!
Damn fine bear your Pudsey but a different kind of Pudsey for this show!!
