I need a wounded guy on stretcher - please

As always I`m planing my next "thing" and note I do not have a wounded guy on stretcher knocking about - anyone got one they are willing to part with to help fuel my madness smile

Obviously 20mm, I don`t mind plastic and as long as he isn`t Napoleonic or something similarly "fluffy" the uniform isn`t important either.

I`m sure I can find something to swap you wink

Ta

Richard

Re: I need a wounded guy on stretcher - please

I recall Airfix original "Modern (or were they WW2) British infantry" and Airfix WW1 Germans having a man on a stretcher and two stretcher bearers. Latter being better sculpt I thought. I can't think of others!?
I think I found a metal man on stretcher in SHQ years ago which I used as basis for field hospital base, with two boxes either end of stretcher and a couple opf medics attending wounded!

PS later re-issue of Airfix Set 01703, British Infantry, also had wounded on stretcher with two bearers in classic Tommy helmet.

The Airfix Airfield Crash Recovery vehicle set had a 'man on stretcher' figure if I recall correctly.

Have you tried posting/putting a message onto any of the braille scale modelling sites Richard??

Richard,

I have one of the above spare if you would like it. He is dressed as a pilot however.

If going spare - yes please - nice figure, that Imex one too smile

Bernard was kind enough to send me the Airfix crash set one also, so my model may now end up with 2 stretchers smile

Richard, I have quite a few assorted Airfix figures on stretchers that I will never use. If you are still looking for any, they are free to a good home, just message me

If you still need some I have a few... looks like you could end up with a 1.1 scale field hospital at this rate!

Re: I need a wounded guy on stretcher - please

As usual, I found one when sorting out some stuff today - If you need one Richard, let me know.

What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all..........  In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing.  I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.
