italeri house substitute

i have been asking every now and then if anyone has any of the excellent italeri house that have long been oop.
i have got a few off ebay and from gaming friends but the escape clubs medieranean front games will need some more so i decided to make one myself and see if it could be cast off ok, here is the results.

i wanted it to match the italeri ones but not be a copy

the steps are separate so the design can be changed to make more variety.
DSCN8315.jpg
it is a simple 4 wall and 2 roof section layout, but i still need to work on the ridge tiles with something better.
i also need to cast off some shutters and doors for it.

you never know they may end up in the bulding range
thanks for looking

Re: italeri house substitute

OH Yes we can ianrs54 !! Me want one (or more) too!!

Just add internal 1st floor and ladders or simple stairs? Perhaps even a simple inserted stable divide for the ground floor?

Shutters and doors would be nice but could be made from plastic card or card?

Shaun, do you think it just needs a 'stronger presence' of a ridge along the top edge of one of the roof pieces?

Not sure where fireplace and chimney is traditionally placed in traditional house of this style? (Never been on hols to central Italy.)

Re: italeri house substitute

thanks for the comments
by the responce on the facebook page i may well have to release it as a kit,
i have to make a chimney, shutters & doors.
i have made a ridge tile with fitting that should make the roof better so it may get released sooner than expected.
we are hoping to make a few terrain releases this year as we have lots of suitable building components and field defences mastered and in some cases already moulded.
will post details as and when
thanks

Re: italeri house substitute

It wouldn't look out of place in any Eastern European Village for places like Albania or Bulgaria, or even Northern Greece. smile
