Quicker than usual but then I had the source material and reference books to hand so not too difficult.  About 6 hours all in probably.

Thanks.  I spend a goodly amount time researching in libraries.  Writing it up helps me understand and appreciate the information.  I suppose I am lucky, I have excellent paid for resources in the Scottish National War Museum (in Edinburgh Castle) and free resources Scottish National Libraries and I get a concession £2 train fare or free bus travel. (Because I'm old & grumpy)

Most interesting.  I would think this is the sort of information that could be on a weblink page on the website.

Sorry - the Scottish War museum is in Edinburgh Castle and the public has to pay to get in.  I'm lucky I get in free because I was posted there when I was in the army.
