Interwar Tank Development

Can't post a clickable link as this is my first post, back on the forum after a few years under a different alias.

A couple of years ago I came across a couple of works albums of high quality photographs from Vickers Armstrong from about 1920-1940. They kindly provided me with digital images and permission to put them up on the web: so I set up the Interwar Tank Development blog (google it to find it)

As with all these things I ran out of steam after posting and captioning the photos; at some point I will try to get back to writing up text for each.

Anyway, the photos are excellent, mostly unpublished and some of very rare subjects so I thought this might be of interest to some people here.

Once I get my first five posts done I may post some of the pics up here along with a link

Re: Interwar Tank Development

Nice one Kalinovsky.
There is abook on the same theme with lots of black and white photos, which is excellent on this theme. I have it on my shelves, but cannot recall author without looking for book.
But good info Kalinovsky. Good to have you back.

The old Profile book on British Armoured Fighting Vehicles 1919/40 may not be the one you mean but is well worth searching out

Re: Interwar Tank Development

If there is interest in it I might try to write something about it for the Journal

Re: Interwar Tank Development

I remember your blog...full of interesting photos, and a lot of them never published before. Well worth a read/look at if interwar tanks are your thing...and useful for those of you who play/game the Very British Civil War.
