Crisis Point, 8th and 9th April 2017, Sheffield

Hi all,

I've just been reminded that I haven't posted here for ages to let people know that this year's Crisis Point gaming weekend is not far away.  The many SOTCW members who've taken part in the past will confirm that it's a great weekend.

This year's event covers the events in Andreivia (on the coast of the Black Sea) in April 1918. The Russians have withdrawn from the First World War leaving only the weak Andreivian army and a British expeditionary force between the Turks and total dominance of the Transcaucasus!

There's space for extra players. You don't need to bring your own figures - we have everything we need to go round!

The cost is £10 for the weekend. Any surplus goes to charity.

Let me know if you're interested.

Sounds great fun Richard,
sadly I am busy that weekend with my middle daughter and partner visiting,
I look forward to hearing or seeing a report in the Journal.... from a correspondent somewhere deep in Andreivia.

Less than a week to go now.  About a dozen of us will be there.  Still room for last minute additions!

Sounds canny Richard, but I'll be at Darlington Sword and Lance Model show on the Saturday. This is what happens when you have multiple interests that clash on the same weekends. sad

Maybe next year, eh Grant?  We try to hit the first weekend of the Easter school holiday (or the second weekend if Easter itself is the first weekend).

Like I say Richard, this usually coincides with Darlington for me...and being only 30 minutes drive away, compared to a couple of hours for Crisis Point, well it's a no brainer after coming on the back of me having done an eight hour nightshift. sad
