The Demise of TMP

Post by UshCha » 10 Sep 2019, 09:47

Well it seems to me TMP is about to die. They have banned avvertisers advertising these wares on spoacialist boards. So now to fined out what new you have to troll through hoards of non relevan avdvertising, never going to happen as far as I am concerned. Plaease don't let that happen here. I like to see whats new in my period even if its not at my scale.

Perhaps I sould start posting here and just prtovide a link to here from TMP.

I've seen something of the latest TMP controversy. I have no idea if or how it will affect TMP's future, but I can tell you that we have no plans to change things here.

Before he started his PMT residency he inhabited the HaT forum under another name (Armand) and made it completely impossible to follow or participate in. So if he can’t find a way round the rules on PMT assisted by the Tango fan boys he will just migrate somewhere else, start again and spoil that - moderators need to look carefully at new member registrations! And of course it won’t sort PMT as it won’t remove Billy the Fish.

It's about 6 years since I logged out of there as it was not worth the agro to find the odd piece of useful info back then. Have a look occasionally and it's not got any better so won't miss it if it does demise.

There are a couple of really helpful people still there and I post questions from time to time. Also a good source of info for the who makes figures for xxx type queries.
As for the ban it seems patchy. Tango posted about Great Escape Games new Alpini and the posts are still there. Also seems pointless as anyone with a bit of nouse could get round it easily. As Bill has confirmed reviews of new figures are allowed, so easy enough to post a review from a separate account.

Cheers Fred.
