New WW2 from Warlord.

Interesting new releases planned by Warlord. First a new set of rules called Cruel Seas with plastic 1/300 small vessels. What I see so far, US LCI, Soviet Minesweeper, RN Vosper MTB’s, German S-Boats. Planned support with resin and metal models to follow the initial box set with plastic ships.
In 28mm are new early war French including mounted and dismounted French cavalry.

Not my scale.

There have been some criticism for the kit and poses on various on line and FB posts - the horses look odd; the cavalry have bandoliers (which i gather arn`t usual??); the cavalry all wear greatcoats! The gunners appear to have backpacks.........

It is an odd choice of scale for what is a naval set of rules. 1/600 is more common for coastal type actions. Making it possible to use up to destroyer class vessels, which would be 6-7” long, while the Vosper is still 1.5” long.

If they do MGBs as part of their resin reinforcements, it makes a St Nazaire raid game a possibility in 1/300 or 6mm.
