Just posting on TMP and I thought, where is everybody.  More too the point I live in Derby UK.  If anybody is local and wanted a game/ faced to face it would be of interest.

Re: location of folk

Brian, I am based just outside of Durham City, so a bit far for me to travel...but would be nice to meet face-to-face for a chat one day?

What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all..........  In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing.  I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.

I'm in Stoke-on-Trent. This thread makes me wonder if there would be interest in some way for members to find other local members. We'd have to get permission to give out details, of course.

Re: location of folk

I think its scenic, but Richards house is on the ridge top so he has a different perspective, he sees it from above rather than from within the woods you drive through to get there.  Have they fixed those potholes yet?!

Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA.  Which may as well be a galaxy far, far away to most of the membership here.

In that galaxy far away - Is it flat bowling green or 'crown' bowling / rolling hills in your part of Kentucky David?

Oops, I meant west of Sheffield of course!

No smog at all but there are still potholes.  Sheffield is in the middle of a multi-billion pound initiative to resurface all of the roads but out in the sticks we're not top priority.

Well spotted Richard.
I hope Richard that you are not using map moves at Crisis Point? There may be 'no encounter' if east and west get muddled?

Mostly rolling hills here, Carl.  The mountains are much further east, while the far western part of the state is flat.
