OK, it looks like it could be on! Leon Pendraken the show organiser has sent us an application to attend, and following has been sent back.
Sorry I didnt share first but I have raised previously and only got a show of one hand to help do it, so just thought, get on with it.

The blurb I have sent back is as follows: (using organisers headings)

Loosely based on “An isolated outpost: six months in the desert” originally produced as a game by David Brock and John Curry and recently re-printed in ”Small Wars” (ed by John Curry)

Name of Club/Individual:

Club website: (if applicable)
http://sotcw.co.uk/ and https://forum.sotcw.co.uk/

Brief Description of Game:
In the valley, lies a forgotten French Foreign Legion outpost, in the days before the Great War; charged with policing Berber raiders, the local Souk, the Madrasa, the trade route through the Oasis, and local villagers, as well as the local chief in his Kasbah. Your task as Fort commander is to respond to these disturbances as they occur, to prevent disorder. Your resources are limited and the threats many.
The National Order of the Legion of Honour, (in French 'Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur/) awaits you (or a cardboard copy!)

Size of Table Required: 6x6 feet

Any other requirements / comments? Some seating for the elder members of this trio of presenters! (before Granty got it in!)

Carl, I did raise my hand the last time, but I think you missed seeing the two fingers held firmly aloft

Seriously, I'll be there with camera and notebook...and I might even let you show me how to 'play soldiers' this time ;) ...
