New scenario

Post by Russell Phillips »

There's a new skirmish scenario on the SOTCW website, featuring men of the Spanish Blue Division mounting a quick raid against the Soviet lines.

Out of interest, does anyone know what the Blue Division Assault Plaque looked like?
My google search to try and find an image was unsuccessful.
Perhaps a book search next.

The only image i could find online appears to show a standard Wehrmacht assault badge -

I think the assault badge was probably the German one - most decorations awarded were.

If you follow the auction link above the photo is a bit fuzzy but I`m pretty sure it is the classic German Infantry Assault badge :D

@Richard, nice piece.

@CarlL... if you are going to start painting assault badges on your miniatures, well, then, I quit!

Bilk,

I can only manage to paint heads on my 20mm with help of a magnifying glass!!

I was only interested in what they looked like as never seen one of these Spanish battle honour decorations.
