Revell Very Late war Panther G.

Post by panzerman47 »

Yeah I'm still here...... ;)

Not much free time of late, and I've lost my modelling space, but still managed to get this done. Next year it WILL be on a table in a game... 8-)

A Revell Panther G, with Flyhawk Etched Brass schurzen, grilles and fenders, a Black Dog resin turret, Dragon mantlet, RB aluminium barrel and brass muzzle brake, CMK starboard engine cooler, and Cromwell resin exhausts... thmbs2)

Painted in the following scheme....

And the model itself.....soon to be in a Rapid Fire 45 scenario.... 8-)

Wow, that angular camouflage is very well done John - amazing in fact

Very impressive. I am always amazed at what people can do with large models. :o

I will be sticky to 6mm where I cannot embarrass myself with total painting failure.

Well panzerman47, that sounds like a bit of a rebuild on the original kit!
I like your use of a photo to inspire your finish. And your finish is quite sharp and interesting, and inspiring too.
Well done

Cheers all, many thanx for the kind comments.

Truth is Carl, I didn’t want to spend a load of cash to get an accurate late war Dragon Panther Ausf G just to repaint it, so decided to do my own.
However, my own version ended up twice as expensive..... although much more fun to do.... ;)
