Quick paint.

Post by cartfc » 03 Mar 2019, 16:18

Some pics of a quick paint job I did on the Warlord Panther. Basic colour was Army Painter Desert Yellow from a spray can. That was dry brushed with a lighter yellow. Green and brown were sponged on using the fine sponge from blister packs. Army Painter soft tone to tie the camo scheme in. Tracks were done in Ammo track wash then dry brushed steel. Detail painting was then done followed by a pin wash with Citadel Nunn Oil. Decals then applied. Just waiting final dry brush and varnishing.

Cheers Fred.

Since this was done I had a replacement bottle arrive. Unfortunately the local shop doesn’t stock it and I forgot about it. Easy enough to do as my paint restocking is based on wandering past the paint stand and thinking Oh yes I m getting low on that and buying a new bottle! This often results in me getting multiple replacements as I forget I have bought a new one when walking past the paints! I really should sit down and go through it all sometime and get it organised.

Cheers Fred.
