Cheers Fred, I`ve left enough room on the bases for a tree (or two) or a camp fire [like the ones in the Italeri desert camp set] :D

Cheers lads :D

I used bits of Matchbox bases to build up the bunkers - to give the impression of an attempt by the Germans to camouflage and blend in their bunker line :D

We`ve been experimenting with hidden units and ambush fire, so the plan is to run another Westwall game where the Yanks have to piece a bunker line where NOT everything is spotted or known beforehand - maybe, Hurtgen or Stolberg Corridor?

I have the urge to field a Luftwaffe Fortress Battalion :D

Love it! :!:  We field late war Germans as poor quality, edged with a few quality troops; none of this last-stand SS fanatic stuff.
