Early desert war tanks and terrain

Post by Seret » Thu Oct 04, 2018 7:46 pm

Our club has been runnning a "What a Tanker" league which will hopefully go right through the war from start to finish. Having done several games in France 1940 muggins here volunteered to provide the toys to move on to North Africa.

So I also knocked up some terrain, including some buildings, palm trees and sand dunes:

I think the whole thing came together into quite a decent table for our game last night:

Looks splendid
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.

Seret,
Beautiful photos of splendidly painted tanks and well crafted terrain!
Love those dust clouds and burnt out tank model too! Great extra touches!
Must add your club night to my Sotcw charabang list of places to visit if this what you "knock up" for a games night!

By all means, Carl. New faces are always welcome!

For anyone that does want to poke their head in, we meet Weds nights, this is us:

We generally have one table of board games and a couple of wargames on the go, one of which is often C20th.
