I was lucky enough for Santa to bring me one. Has anyone had any experience with them?
I’ve had a mixed bag so far, and I’m not convinced that I’m doing it correctly. I’ve connected the crocodile to the base, the figure, a pin inserted into the base.
So far best results have been with the clip attached directly to the base.
Any help or tips greatly appreciated.

I made my own:

Previously I'd been using the "baloon and a jumper" method to get the grass to stand up after sprinkling it, this does a much better job. It's a bit surprising if you accidentally touch it though...
Thinning the PVA you're using for your grass right down helps. You need the PVA to become a decent enough conductor, and depending on how dilute it is coming out of the bottle it might not be conducting very well.

Very popular with the Miniature Railway enthusiasts. You can get some great results as long as you follow the manufacturers instructions.
