This was a Corgi AEC box van, I added window/shutters and a little stowage and have painted her up as a command caravan for my desert British.
I think it looks OK
Certainly doesn`t look out of place among my other British HQ and soft skins

Very nice, Richard. I think it would do quite nicely as an Italian caravan as well.
David
I used the same truck to make "Italian" troop carriers.
and portees for Anti-Tank guns
Not awfully accurate but they do the job! And in action
Gary Richards said exactly the same thing over on FB
I remember these photos from the first time around - smashing conversions (mine is no way as complicated or detailed)

Lovely job on the conversion and I was going to say good fleet of British command vehicles, but after seeing Davids fleet of Italian conversions, I have to congratulate you on a lovely squadron of command vehicles for "sailing" across the desert!!
CarlL
PS where did you (David) find so many vehicles to convert!!???

Carl, I got the basic trucks on either e-bay or car boot sales usually as part of a job lot.
Corgi Cameo and Lledo trucks form a significant part of my "generic" transport fleets.
