24th Colonial Infantry Regiment, Syria `41

Post by Richard B. »

Well a bit of it anyway :)

2 x 12 figure, Groupe de combate plus a small 4-man HQ, so a weak infantry company under our rules.
All these are those Elhiem Figures Senegalese, some with head-swaps using various Adrian heads out of the bits box, the telephone op is from Raventhorpe

Lovely work, Richard.
Will you be expanding this company or keeping them as 'under strength'?

I also liked the "Fez" headgear in the figures you commissioned, even if not reflection of headgear in action photos.

Ran out of Adrian helmet heads.....

I like my colonials to be different and visible on tabletop, my Legionnaires wear Kepi, my Aussies wear bush hats, my Moroccans wear rexa and my Senegalese wear Chechia...

If everything is samey - what is the point :)

Another interesting addition, what's next?
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.
