US MPs for NWE

Post by Richard B. »

Been writing over the weekend, well re-writing actually a scenario of mine published in The Journal way back in issue 51.

Set during the first few days of the German Ardennes offensive, I found I needed some US MPs, so dug around in the boxes and came up with these.

Nice day for painted so set-up outside

Very nice, Richard. You are correct about the origins of the "Military Police" decal on the Fujimi jeep. I have several in my decal stash that still say Nitto on the back, from the days before the Nitto range of 1/76 armor kits was taken over by Fujimi in 1990.

It is 19.20 here the sun is shining and I`m sitting in shorts and a T-shirt typing this

I think you made a bold but good decision in your move!
If Brexit had not happened we might have gone that way too, (I already have a brother living and working in Spain); but Brexit and our iffy health in retirement made us cautious not bold. So we went north rather than south!! Hopes of escaping the frostbite risk by winter holidaying in Spain have also been scuppered by covid. So I shall have to keep wrapped up and put heater on comfy setting when I paint (indoors)!!
Enjoy that warming sun Richard.
Sounds like it's good for the painting mojo.

While hunting through the stash for something else I found I had four of the Fujimi motorcycles and I haven't assembled any
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.
