Warsaw pact afv camo schemes ibfo request

Post by Phil_Gray_260 »

Knowing that the Red Army during WW2 used a variety of camo schemes aside from overall green or overall white, does anyone have sources for Warsaw Pact vehicle camo schemes?

I'm looking to work up a Czech 1950s-60s motor rifle force...

Checked Osprey Elite 26, basic green with 2 lagre red/brown stripes - probably carries a natoinal marking on each side of the turret. Try Google images as I am certain they used more complex schemes.

Thanks Gary :-)

I've also found this

https://www.quora.com/During-the-1950s- ... haki-shade

Which shows "Woodland" (two tone green on mid to light grey or sand), "Snow" (dark green on white) and "Desert" (Green - and maybe grey as well - on sand)

Always nice to have options :-)
