Commandos in Denisons?

Post by cartfc » 25 May 2019, 00:05

I have a vague recollection of reading somewhere that some Commandos got Denison smocks before the end of the war. Is that correct and if it is anyone know which Commandos and when?

Thanks,
Fred.

My father was an RAF Commando who served with several Army Commandos until 1944 and he was issued with a "Windproof" smock of the the same type as the other Commandos. It was similar but different to the Denison Smock.
