PPS
I do like many of the Spearhead ideas and have the original WW2 set and the WW1 set but never found anyone who had mastered the game to get me motivated.
Perhaps we could persuade someone to do a demo participation type game at a show in UK?

CarlL in lucid moment ;)

I remember back in the day when this forum used to discuss some intricate tactical manoeuvre ,or some technical detail on kit , or a new slant on some significant historical event ,or something of that ilk..now we have Grant and loo rolls..how we have progressed :D :D :D :D

Sorry Bannockburn Bhoy,

I took poor Granty down this gully.....

But we shall make amends next week when Grant can share photos of our historical game presentation .... of course our game may be more "hollywood" than "historical" as it is at an abstract level. But I shall submit the game as Journal piece and hopefully Grant's camera skills will do Maggy's new 2D mountains and the general set up, proud. We can debate the tactics of Berber tribesmen with rifles versus overseas power with infantry backed by MGs, artillery, armoured cars and aircraft!

Aye John, but I'm talking 4 ply cushioned bog rolls and not just the 2 ply cardboard stuff we had as kids...so yes, I'm very progressive in my 'rants'
