Berthe Mayer, MBE.: interesting piece by Russell Phillips

Post by CarlL »

Not sure how widely Russell has circulated his short article on the achievements of Bertha Mayer, MBE, during Allied invasion of Madagascar, which Russell has shared to help celebrate International Women's Day.
Well done Russell.

Well done Russell
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.

I'm really pleased to hear that people are looking forward to it. I did wonder if it was too niche to really appeal to many, but I found the research fascinating :)
