Italeri have just released a box of 1/72 Free French www.italeri.com/prodotto/2818 includes stretcher bearers and some AT figs.

The PSR covering the original box you posted Richard states French forces participating in the Normandy landings retained the Adrian Helmet and other distinctive pieces of French kit ,is this true ,never seen any of that, cheers John

But most French units had been totally re-equipped by the Yanks by Normandy, the odd Bachi sailor hat, calot side cap or kepi (obviously not in direct combat where you wear you steel pot
