with plenty of time on my hands i haver managed to get more projects finished off.
mostly cold war engineering models
russian bmr and kmt 5 rollers

Well slap me daft!! :shock:

I didn't know that the Chieftain was ever converted into an AVRE. I thought it was just a gun tank only!! (Sounds like something else I need to Google!!*)

And what vehicle would be most suitable as a towing truck for the Giant Viper mine clearing trailer?? Answers on a postcard to the usual address :lol:

Cheify was Bridgelayer and Recovery vehicle, after retirement de-fanged tanks were issued to Replace Cent AVRE, which were retired in 91 after one exploded in Iraq. That was the tow for Giant Viper.
