Apart from a pin vice and really sharp scalpel blades the most useful tool you can get.

this ad photo is same device as my wire cutters!! (for DIY and cutting spears / lances / standard poles from florist or piano wire!!)

Doesn't surprise me I just bought the cheapest set they had. There are a few other types which cost a bit more but these work for me. Also buy a lot of my hobby tools from rhe Range they have small drill bits, needle files etc for just a quid or two a pack.
