Battleground 2021 - Sat 20th Nov, Stockton-on-Tees

After a year off due to Covid, Battleground is back!  This year the show will be taking place on Saturday 20th November so one week earlier than usual due to a clash with the Warfare show in Ascot.  The Warfare club have assured is that this is only a one-off and we'll be back to our usual 'last weekend of November' slot for 2022.  The show will be at our usual venue of the Queen's Campus Sports Hall in Stockton-on-Tees, TS17 6BH and will be open from 10am until 3pm.  Entry is completely FREE again!

We sent out the trader forms a few weeks back and we're getting the bookings back in now.  There are a few of our usual traders and games who are unable to attend this year so we're going to use that extra space to spread everything out as best we can and make the event a bit more socially distanced.  There should still be around 30 traders though so plenty of options to spend your savings!  All of the traders will be added to the website here: https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/traders

The games are also starting to book in now and we're expecting the usual fantastic selection of display and participation games with somewhere around 20 available on the day.  We'll have both display and participation games running, so some to play and some to drool over...!  All of the games will be updated here: https://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk/games

One minor change for this year is that sadly the Tabletop Sale will not be running for 2021.  This part of the hall is always fairly cramped with both sellers and buyers and it's not viable for it to be present until things are a bit safer.  We'll definitely have it back for next year so you might have to hold on to those unwanted bits for a little longer!  Other than this we're not expecting any major changes due to Covid.  The University campus currently has a mask mandate in place but we'll be getting another update a few weeks before the event to confirm whether that will affect us.

All of the show info can be found on either the Battleground website here: http://www.battlegroundshow.co.uk or our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/BattlegroundShow?ref=hl  If you've got any questions about the event, just let us know.

So, don't forget to tell your friends about the FREE ENTRY and we'll see you there!

Have a great day guys, regrettably my daughter is having the roof replaced so I can't use the excuse of a visit to break what would be a a long day into something manageable. :(
What's the point of doing one period, when you can do them all.......... In life most people specialise so gradually they know more and more about less and less so eventually they know everything about nothing. I work on a broad front so eventually I'll know nothing about everything.
