I will get my finger out and get something written for the journal. I have a few 'alternate history' scenarios running through my head as well as a few book reviews I need to do.

It's getting there, a few people have promised articles for the New Year, so I hope we receive those.

Ran the first scenario today, came out as history tells us it did - hooray :D

Should get the second one :D done next week, with the AARs, I guess they are about 3-4 pages each?

Good news!

Will this be a continuation of the Journal numbering or will it be done as a 2017, or 2018, Annual or similar adjusted title?

Nothing novel about the next edition unless some sudden flight of fancy/fantasy takes our whim.

I anticipate it will be J95 (I think that's the right number) with another pretty cover, courtesy of Mr Jones. It will be the first of the extended (to use up the spare money) last subscription.

I wouldn't get over excited just yet. According to the intake we've had, I would doubt we can start editing until spring 2018 so perhaps a May/June/July delivery window is as optimistic as we can be.

Cheers

The timing makes it sound like changing to an ANNUAL is quite plausible!

Honestly, I'm not willing to commit to any time frame at this point.

To be completely clear, summer 2018 is absolutely not a commitment. It's the most optimistic potential date, as seen at this point. Actual production depends both on having enough material to print, and the editor having the time and energy to commit to producing it.

Great to see there has been progress on assembling the journal, a task that often goes unnoticed. I look forward to its release at some point, when time permits of course.
