Re: Recycleing - Scenarios

Twin Farms is a good scenario and easily adapted to whatever theatre you like. It is the only game in the book where C S Grant beats Charles senior, assuming from the way it is written that Charles senior played Red!

Re: if only they could have

Had one of those for towing my BAT gun! Not unplausible for a 60/70’s film prop. SOP was to take any handy allied vehicle paint it grey and add some crosses.

Re: More 20mm trucks

Very nice Richard. Those Shellhole Scenics truck beds are very handy. Could have done with those back when plastic kits were all you could get. Somewhere I still have the GS Bedford QL I converted from the Airfix RAF Refuelling set kit with instructions and plans from an Airfix magazine article. Che...

Re: VBCW anyone?

There is a Winter of ‘79 project that covers a 1980’s version. Mike Bravo Miniatures does some figures including a Mrs T although she looks more like the Spitting Image puppet! It does appeal. Proper Brit infantry with SLR’s, Humber Pig, FV432, Scimitar, Scorpion and Fox. http://winterof79.blogspot....

Re: New (fiction) book

Interesting. This is pre Challenger I and Warrior, small numbers of Leopard II and M1 Abrams. All the cool 70’s jets still in service, Phantom, Harrier, Jaguar, with the new generation coming on stream like the F15, F16 and Tornado. For the Soviet’s presumably T-80B, T-64B for the category A divisio...

Re: The Demise of TMP

There are a couple of really helpful people still there and I post questions from time to time. Also a good source of info for the who makes figures for xxx type queries. As for the ban it seems patchy. Tango posted about Great Escape Games new Alpini and the posts are still there. Also seems pointl...

Re: 28mm scimitars

When I saw the thread title I thought you were after models of the British light tank/recce vehicle! Puzzled me as to why you might want them for 28mm, but all is clear now.
