Re: The mighty Wehrmacht

Exactly, I find the games that deploy the full orbat/TOE units exasperating! Very few account for normal mechanical and supply attrition, let alone combat losses. Even in peacetime exercises vehicles breakdown let alone under combat conditions! Otto Carius' accounts of actions on the Eastern Front r...

Next time try to fit a trip to the Artillery Museum in Cartagena.......get up close (touchy feely close) to...

Re: Strelets Indian Heavy weapons

Missed these, but what else is kicking about? I used to get off sprues from a chap in Holland but he has stopped trading now.....
I find that just one of two sprues are useful in some of the boxes of figures ........especially heavy weapons and specialist types.

Re: naval wargaming

I have some 1/3000 stuff for the actions off Norway in 1940. I've just seen a photo of a BMR 600 with Milan mounted in similar fashion.....

Re: What`s everyone up too?

I've just assembled the first of three Vodniks from Gran Models.......a bit fiddly and horrible wheel/suspension assemblies......replaced with a wire axle glued to the hull. I have assembled my river gunboat from WOW buildings and prepped some scatter terrain for basecoating. I have almost finished ...
