Re: Endeavour Press in liquidation

I've now heard that they're forming a new company, Endeavour Media, and that at least some books will be published by the new company. I don't know how true that is, though.

Endeavour Press in liquidation

Sad to say that Endeavour Press have gone into voluntary liquidation. According to the statement on their website, authors retain their copyright, and will be able to re-publish their books if they wish to do so.

Re: Indo-Pakistan Wars scenarios

The old TableTop modern scenarios book has at least one from the 65 war. Do you mean Battlezones? It has one based on a battle on the Mandiala Heights in 1971. If you don't mind getting more modern, GHQ's micro armour rules have a scenario set in 1990. Edited to add: There's a link to the GHQ scena...

Re: Email is dead!?

Sounds like there's not a lot of demand and that you've got it covered. You're right, there doesn't seem to be a lot of demand, but I didn't know that until I asked. so I think you're stuck with your multi-channel approach I'm happy using a multi-channel approach. In fact, I'd rather use a multi-ch...

Re: Email is dead!?

I already use Twitter and Facebook, as well as email. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't add some form of instant messaging as well, if my readers would like that option. If they don't want it and wouldn't use it, then there's no reason to add it. That's why I'm trying to find out if they want i...

Re: Email is dead!?

Just look at your email inbox today; how many of those are an actual message written just for you by another human? 10%? 5%? Zero? 40% in one account, 29% in the other account, but I realised long ago that I'm atypical when it comes to email. But in this context, what I'm interested in is how peopl...

Re: Email is dead!?

Initial results seem to indicate that most people are happy with email. To be honest, that's what I'd expected, but I try to base business decisions on evidence when I can :)
