D-Day: The Battle for Normandy - 99p at Amazon

The Kindle version of Antony Beevor's D-Day: The Battle for Normandy is currently 99p at Amazon UK , and you can add the audio book for an extra £2.99 (normally £20.99) if you buy the Kindle book. Re: Welcome to the New Forum

Re: How To: Add an image to a post without using an external site

You may be right, Grant, although the 512KB limit means that very large photos will have to be hosted externally. I'll review the space limit if we run out.

As a work colleague once said, "A picture is worth a thousand words, but it takes up more space on the server."

PS how is the gaming going with your little man? Any headless airfix yet? To be honest, mostly we play Memoir '44, and he usually wins  Jen & I play a lot of boardgames, and the kids often play with us, so I guess he's more used to that kind of setup. Him and his sister both have some of thei...

As far as I can tell, this is an issue with cookies, probably because you have cookies from the old forum. I had a similar issue, and deletin...

Re: Posting photos.

Now that I've got a bit more time, I've also added instructions explaining how to add photos without using a site like imgur:

Subscribing to posts & forums

The new forum has some new features, and some features work slightly differently. When you post a reply to a topic, you can elect to be notified when replies are posted - simply make sure the "Notify me when a reply is posted" box is ticked. To have this ticked by default, go to the User Control Pan...

Re: Posting photos.

Yes, you can. I've just copied the post from the old forum to a new sticky post here. The procedure is exactly the same.
