French cannon train rouler??

a sort of wheeled carriage onto which you could stand the older spoke wheeled `75, so it could be towed by truck.

Anyone got any images of a real one and maybe some info on its use??

Anything more than the zip i know would be appreciated :roll:

I`d seen Vickers with pistol grip and shoulder stock mounted on LRDG type patrol trucks, but these were always pintel mounts, never seen one with a bi-pod before :o

I posted a video onto the society FB page this morning of two 90+ vets being dropped into France yesterday :shock:

One was heard to comment as they strapped him into the tandem harness - "a lot more fuss these days" :lol:

Balls of steel those boys, makes you humble to listen to them :D

Back to business as usual - whats on peoples to do lists?? I have a couple of EWM halftracks finished building today, a French P17 and a Sdkfz 10 (also to be French) based on a photo :ugeek: plus crews obviously. I also have a French `75 with pneumatic wheels plus one of those "train rouler" trailer...
