So Desparate

So tired and fed up I had to resort to painting. https://forum.sotcw.co.uk/posting.php?mode=post&f=11# I could think of nothing I could do being tired. So not wanting to waste my time I resorted to the worst bit of war gaming for me, Painting. Still I have 6 out of the 10 T72 B's I need mostly paint...

Re: Total loss of focus and drive :(

Richard B
About £300 gets you a printer, software etc. and a kg of Plastic. That's probably less than some armies and enough plastic to print one. I get the don't want to do it bit but the cost is now only that of an army and well less than what we have spent on terrain.

Re: FV102 and FV438 Drawings for 3D Models

Yup it did the trick, thanks, I now have a 1/144 FV438t and a Sparton for the Brits. I did lose a few stripes when I noted that only one missile should be up at a time. To be fair this is not well documented but Alex did the change. I have even seen bigger models that have got that wrong.

Re: Total loss of focus and drive :(

Perhaps you need a change of emphasis. Research drawing models in 3D, get a few printed and if its fun, buy a printer. Thing of all those never before made models you could have!

Re: Reconnissance by Force

Now that is interesting! Not really thought about it that way. Must have a go at that one! This sort of thing is what makes me keep playing year in and year out.

Re: Reconnissance by Force

dadlamassu, To be honest I am not sure this really does the job. It really does not cover what is the approach march against very light opposition is. it sort of covers better where the enemy have been located. The first thing the MR regiment needs to do is work out where the enemy is. That's simple...

Reconnissance by Force

So its 1991 the Russians are coming. Unforetunately not where we Gemans had intended, they have broken through. The Russians have had milimal time for reconnisance, all thay know is that therws likely only a screening force between them and there objective. Unfortunately the are correct all the germ...
