On cost side my thinking was similar - a posh pressie.
I would buy this book...if it contains lots of photos and colour plates...but at £39.95, and with only seeing two colour plates of uniforms/combatants, I'd be reluctant to buy it 'on a whim'. :(

Re: WW1 Italian Cavalry

(if memory serves me correctly) CarlL Now that is an understatement if ever I heard one!!  But being serious for a moment, I've never heard of Italy having, (or used), any cavalry regiments, so maybe a bit of a research project for you Carl, and a written piece for the SOTCW website? Re: Senegalese in tropical kit

The AARs I post are written in Word then cut/pasted, the images have to be hosted to post, there are free hosting sites that will do that and allow you to post the URL of the image here as a link. We post picture images all the time on various threads, I see no issue with using images for non-profi...

(I know we have a copy write issue, and the images have to be edited out sometimes). So, questions are;...

Re: John Dowman RIP

I just read with some shock and disbelief that our good mate and stalwart supporter of the SOTCW John "Mausman" Dowman, on here known as Panzerman47 died suddenly of a heart attack over the weekend. :( :( :( :( I am lost for words............ I'm sitting here looking at your message Richard, and I ...

Another 12
Two head-swaps, a veteran white NCO and an Adrian helmet for the LMG gunner
