Didn't mean to be delphic. The book. On two counts: Superficially, when I first read your title I associated it with the east front WW2 rules by Barrie Lovell with a very similar name. 3d printing is certainly interesting. I don't know if its better to go for the smaller or larger scale stuff when it comes to how the finish affects the detail though.
