Operation Warboard was my first set of rules too. The D-day game report in particular inspired me as a teenager and I still enjoy reading them today.

We gave the Unofficial Battlegroup Modern rules a try out on Thursday evening. It turned out to be a great game, with a nice period feel. No major issues came up in the game, a couple of things that might be an issue but we'll be playing them through again soon and probably a few times after that to...

Have you tried the ColdWarCommander web site? There are lots of resources under scenarios and battle reports. I thought there were at least a couple of regular posters from a few years back who were doing games set in the Indo-Pak war.

Nice mix of figures, gives a nice rag-tag look to late war Germans.

I quite like the Britannia figures. Maybe its something to do with camera angles, but I never seem to notice when they are in my hand or on the table.
