Re: Shellhole Scenics sale

John, I am old but not that old! You and Grant need to revise your arithmetic! All those old soldiers are now gone, I believe. Thankfully we are still learning about their experiences and suffering on many fields, far and wide. See other threads. I joined sotcw too late to read many of these first t...

A forgotten range of big 20mm

Well here is a one man outfit little talked of these days as no longer attending shows - BandB Miniatures - nor advertising but a source of many good, well cast, detailed large, often chunky with flowing clothes, of 20mm figures for : WW1 middle east Turks, Arabs, Brits, Indians, New Zealanders, and...

French and "Arabs" for period 1900 to 1914

OK not strictly new, but unseen by many, so one I thought I would share. A range of large 25mm, really 28mm, figures for early 20th century colonial conflicts in north Africa from Warrior Miniatures. See www.warrioronline.demon.co.uk Where you can find a range of French with lebel rifle and north Af...

They are soon to share one website with Northumbrian Painting Services at www.paintinghistory.co.uk Although this migration may be yet to happen from my tr...

Re: Scrap Heap Challenge - first vehicles added

Nice to hear Alan that I am not the only one with plastic crumble troops! Mine more plastic glass that sheer off at ankle etc if dropped on any hard surface. Early Airfix plastic may survive for thousands of years but only in small pieces!
