These guys began life as 19th century plastic cavalry mainly from HaT, Strelets and the dismounted types from HaT and Waterloo! They are looking good, UshCha, considering how small they are (12mm?) and that you dont want to over scale them to over detail them. I think these diddymen will look good in your games. (Having seen a few now on displays at Pudsey mainly!) I like the afv for comparison in background which is detaile...

I wonder how Richard B., ever got that lot through the metal scanners to take to Spain!!

Mind his man cave will be cool place to game in summer (or spring or sutumn as it can be warm most of the year in southern Spain!)

Leon you could try a matt varnish before your dark / black wash then the quality of your casting may be clearer?
