Re: New review: Haig’s Enemy by Jonathan Boff

Interesting review Jonathan, and sounds like it shines light on all those other factors, like rivalries of political houses, and aristocratic repute, which might put one general or command decision before another. Jonathan's reference to insight into political interference in German "professional mi...

Re: What are you working on??

Richard
The Sengalese would be an interesting addition to those 20mm figures currently available (like those from Tumbling Dice).

Re: mexican Revolution additions

It is impressive, Richard, and your photos look like you made good job of giving it feel of smaller scale model while still retaining its beast like shells!
I also like the look of the pompom gun on tyres! Could be solid or pneumatic from its appearance!

Leon,
Perhaps persuading a model shop to attend with kits and figures would widen the appeal to likes of our own Granty (contributor to this forum) and others who may still game and model in the old style Airfix manner, which includes me!

Re: Battleground 2019 - Sat 30th November, Stockton-on-Tees, UK

Great line up! Leon. Sadly, I am not having success persuading old friends and gamers from Lancashire coast to attend. I did offer free b&b but none took it up! Perhaps that's a good thing as house move that was supposed to take place this week has fallen through! Whichever address, I am living at b...

Great paint job. I like the Frontline RR Armoured Car. The change of MG in turret is not one I have tried.
