Re: air wars

1/200 scale using Warlords Blood Red Skies. Quite like the rules. A lot of subtlety to them.

Re: French additions

Lovely stuff. The French halftracks have a quaint, rustic look to them, which I like. The captured German one is good too.

I probably need some more greatcoated US though. Also doing some figure conversions for Panzer Brigade 150. As they wore German unifo...

Very nice. Always liked the M8 and M20’s. I am doing some for a big Ardennes battle later in the year.

Re: Blood Red Skies

So we tried the Thach Weave today. It worked ok. I did manage to shoot down one Wildcat that I caught trailing on the crossover, but promptly lost it when the other pair reversed. Most of the time best I could manage was high deflection beam attacks coming in from the sides, but they are tough shots...

Re: Mexican Revolution Inventory pt2 Villaistas

Not something I know much about. Just watched the film with Yul Brynner and Charles Branson. Don’t know how accurate it is, but interesting to see a hursuit Yul Brynner for a change.

Whilst I always start with a plan it never survives contact with the miniatures!
