Re: More French Foreign Legion anyone?

Plastic sets are a lot more useful than they used to be. Was reminiscing recently on the Airfix Commando set with the guys with just a knife or a grenade (just one grenade, mind you, 2 is extravagance,). Re: Tricky chaps, these new armies

I only play post war French. They have some of the best looking modern kit. The AMX-10RC has got to be the coolest armoured car ever! They make a good post war force as they have been involved in a lot of conflicts in Africa and Asia and they a bit less overkill than US.

Cheers Fred.

Re: WW2 Cossacks in German service

I thought you had Spanish Blue division figures or did you get rid of those too? Cheers Fred Never actually built a dedicated force, I was using Germans in greatcoats plus Airfix ski troops. The greatcoat guys have now been repainted as Desert Germans, the ski troops got binned Have thought about d...

Re: Italian guns

My French are already flexible :) Not keen on starting a brand new project :o I admire your self control. I keep finding bits to add to existing projects. Finished my Stalingrad/winter ‘42/43 Soviets and Germans, but now Great Escape have released winter Romanians and Italians, so tempted to do the...

Re: Panther A Warlord 1/56.

Have seen a lot of otherwise good models where it looks as if the bottom half of the hull has just been dipped in mud. Mud is deposited in a distinct pattern where it is thrown by the tracks. A tank with that much mud on has been bogged down and just pulled out. My 3rd pet hate is commander half out...
