Empress Miniatures late war Germans, some winter Italians and Romanians for Stalingrad era games and a pile of Rubicon kits. Need to do some terrain too.

The US recon troop is quite an interesting unit. 3 M8’s and 6 Jeeps, 2 with trailers. Lots of automatic weapons, but a bit light on personnel made them hard hitting, but lacking in staying power. The M20’s were used mostly in TD units AFAIK, a TD platoon having 2 M20’s and 4 TD’s (M10, M18 or M36). ...

How is this for modelling on 1:1 scale? Although I have to say I am not keen on models with all those individual track links. They are a bit fiddly. :D

It wasn’t such of an issue for me with the Germans as I had some of the other German sets and you can swap arms around between them and I even included some of the figures from the other box sets in the force. There will still guys wearing jackboots in 1944. Of course that does mean paying more mone...

Since this was done I had a replacement bottle arrive. Unfortunately the local shop doesn’t stock it and I forgot about it. Easy enough to do as my paint restocking is based on wandering past the paint stand and thinking Oh yes I m getting low on that and buying a new bottle! This often results in m...
