Re: Boer infantry and artillery

I quite like the original Boers, they have a lot of character(s) I especially like the chap lighting some dynamite. http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/SetScans/STR056d.jpg I'm not sure I need any more but I'll certainly be buying these new sets. I've also still got the pom-pom awaiting paint. Will

Winter Werfers

A couple of Nebelwerfers that have been lurking at the back of the painting tray finally got finished. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fTvFHe2bOVY/XaCsNP1VVgI/AAAAAAAAXh8/0OUsqJkcSowW_eDX0IKotWU4I4mDBwWHQCLcBGAsYHQ/s800/DSC07834.JPG I had debated for a while getting the Italeri Nebelwerfer set, whenever ...

Nicely done Will, I like the mules and use of the Anglo-Egyptian mounted officer :)
It's the officer in the set Richard, but thanks for the idea, I'll use that for another officer.

Foreign Legion - 1920s

But not the usual blue coated Legionnaires, these are painted for the period 1908 to 1920 for the Rif Wars. The figures are the new ones from Strelets for the period and they come with a very nice Hotchkiss machine gun. https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-d7N8wbvIOe4/XZ27L6Qy-LI/AAAAAAAAXhY/ERyG1JvP87ggGmtET...

Rifs or Bedouins?

These are the new Strelets Rifs, that look more like Bedouins. Still a nice addition to my existing Arab forces for early C20. Re: Total loss of focus and drive :(

Hordes of Strelets "Rifs" (really Bedouins) Bashi Bazouks and Mamelukes, very slowly working on the lot at once! Some Legionnaires are all washed ready to get started.
